Since management changed..I'm finding the service department is a little less than what is used to be...The people at Maclin Ford are Incredible! I was called by name by at least three separate people whom I had never met, was welcomed in, offered coffee and made to feel as if I was a person not a number or potential sale.The people at Maclin Ford (Brad,Tanis and Mark) and at Ford Canada (Rachel ) have unknowingly made a difference in our lives (and we aren’t even Ford clients (yet)). We felt respected and genuinely cared about! THAT alone was enough for me to say to EVERYONE:“Hey you…yeah you over there, you should buy a Ford from these guys…they’re awesome!)After the exceptional treatment I received at Maclin Ford, I felt everyone should know how we were treated and level of professionalism we received! I cannot speak highly enough about it!

I’m new to Maclin. Looking back I don’t know what took me so long to give them a chance. Recently, I took my car in for servicing before putting it away for winter. My first point of contact was Julia Hul, Service Advisor. From the get go, Julia demonstrated a friendly, helpful and competent brand of customer service. My car was ready when promised. I reviewed my invoice when I got home and thought something looked odd. I had requested synthetic oil but the invoice didn’t specifically state synthetic anywhere. So, I decided to phone back the next day to confirm. Julia asked if I could hold while she checked. This is where it could have gone sideways. Julia could have said she’d call me back shortly... like many dealerships would have. She could have debated whether or not it was what I had asked for. Julia could have mumbled to me in a gripey, “it’s just an oil change tone” but she didn’t. I waited a minute or two and when when Julia returned, she simply said it was likely her mistake and Maclin would do a synthetic change when ever I wanted, at no cost to me. Everyone makes mistakes. It could have been my mistake. The important thing to me when mistakes occur, is “how we respond and deal with them”.Because of Julia’s straight forward, quick, positive and customer friendly response... I’m going to be dealing with Julia and Maclin going forward. After all, it’s a mix of personality, training and teamwork that makes one business become successful while others do not. And those competitors will wonder why they lost customers. Thanks Julia and Maclin! LJ

Very efficient service quick from purchase agreed to picking up new vehicle. Great explanation of how the vehicle worked and assured that if we had a priblem then we could call and get help.

I purchased my truck (F350 dually) a few months ago from Darrell and could not be more happier with the service I received from him and the rest of the staff. I brought in my 2011 F150 for some maintenance that needed to be done and which would be costly in the end. Since I could only afford some of the repairs the sales rep worked a deal with me to buy my truck pay off the existing loan on the truck and take a huge chunk of cash and other insentives on a new one. Great deal and great price.
